Driving through Northern Island, my husband mention Ballymoney was the home of the Joey Dunlop Memorial Garden and Bar. We pop over for a visit and it was a lovely spot.  Ballymoney is a small town and civil parish in County Antrim, Northern Ireland. Joey Dunlop was a world champion motorcyclist from the area. During his career he won the Ulster GP, twenty four times. He died whilst racing in Estonia on 2nd July 2000. In May 2001 Ballymoney Borough Council officially opened the Joey Dunlop Memorial Garden.

We then went onto visit  bar which was walking distant from the garden and my husband had a pint of Guinness like a lot of the other bikers who were visiting at the same time !

My husband was pleased to get here. For me, it was never part of my plans. I am not a fan of motorbikes, I think they are too dangerous.
