One of my bucket list items was experiencing Christmas and New Years Eve in Sydney in the Sun ! We left a cold, wet London and arrived in a warm Sydney.

Luna Park which I still have not visited yet – maybe one day !

We took the tourist bus to Bondi Beach and it was packed, but then it was both the Christmas holidays and school holidays.

I like how the city shows both the old and new just like London. Christmas Day we had a roast dinner and this was strange as it over 30 degrees and who would want a roast dinner on such a hot day. Before long New Years Eve was here and the fireworks are amazing !

But is was such a weird experience to spend both Christmas and New Years Eve across the other side of the world. And I have been looking at cruises around Australia and New Zealand around this period. My husband would be doing this with me, he has never been to Sydney at Christmas time. So this could be a trip in our future. Fingers crossed, we are lucky and well enough to do this. It would be another amazing Christmas and New Years in one of my favourite city Sydney, Australia.
