This was my first Traverse event. I did not know what to expect. But was told that as it was being held at Kingston University. To expect practical boot camp classes by top industry brand and speakers. This was my view after we arrived.

We had previously seen a schedule and had to pick which of the four rooms you wanted to experience.  I picked the The art of building sustained relationships with brands and PR agencies – the PR perspective with Julie Giraud. I really enjoyed this and learnt a lot. We then had a coffee break with these gorgeous cupcakes from the Canadian Tourism Commission but baked by Crumbs and Doiles.

Before we settled into another class – this time I picked From Blogger To Brand Ambassador with Kash Bhattacharya. Before I joined the Air France/KLM Focus Group at lunch time.

I then attended the Social Media: Beyond The Basics with Ellie Croft, where I learnt about advertising. And picked up some good notes.

I loved meeting the guys at @Moodaway and look forward to playing around with their site. If any blogger is thinking about attending a Traverse event, I would say yes.  It is so informative and you learn so much. I can not wait for the next one !

I also managed to tick another item off my London Bucket List – due to being ill, I had to leave Traverse just after the third class. And I ended up getting a bus back to the Kingston Town Centre.
