TRAVEL PLANS FOR 2017

My travel plans for 2017 are again a mixed lot. My husband requested that we did not do a long haul this year. He did not want to fly more than six hours. And he still has to have a two annual leave block. Where as I luckily do not need to do that any more. But I also have to book trips with my husband’s European Motorbike Track Trips in mind. Last year, he was in Spain trying out the Jerez, Valencia and Aragon tracks. I went to Valencia with him but not the others. And we are still over paying on our mortgage to get it paid off quicker.
My mum and I are going to China in the spring. It was a hit and miss if this trip was going to take place and to be honest I have never been so stressed about it. Booking holiday should never give stress. We are heading to Beijing, Xian and Chengdu and I am so excited and nervous at the same time.
And in the summer, I get a holiday in the sun ! I really missed this last year. There was no nice weather in the UK until late July and I missed going away in the summer. Ever year from now on, I am determined to get a few days maybe just a long weekend somewhere warm in Europe. This year we are heading to Ljubljana, Slovenia.
A long weekend exploring Berlin. Literally a last minute decision and only because it was the cheapest flight from Stansted for us.
Another long weekend exploring Madrid. As I have mentioned before, Spain is one of our favourite countries. Madrid has been on my wish list for some time !
A trip to Cape Verde in the autumn, where I will be looking for rest and relaxation !
My friend and I are visiting Disneyland Paris at Christmas time, just to eat at Bistro Chez Remy – as it looks adorable ! And we will also be spending some time in Paris, at Christmas !
This is just the international travel. In the UK, I have tickets for the Magical Lantern Festival which I am so excited about.
I am spending a few days exploring Dover, Hastings, Margate and Brighton. And visiting the Palaces at Windsor and Hampton Court. I have Open Gardens in June and Open City in September both held in London. And we are off to Bristol in August for their annual balloon festival.
And anywhere else that takes my fancy ! I am going to have a busy 2017 and lets hope it is a good one !
